Since my last visit, two months ago, I’ve dropped 12 pounds. My blood pressure is hovering at an almost-too-high place but it’s static (the bottom number is the issue). I’ve self-identified some of the triggers for my anxiety and I’ve taken on some different mindful/self-care activities.
She was totally happy to see my progress and was thrilled at the weight loss. I explained my intermittent fasting plan and she had no problem with it.
I also talked to her about my GYN concerns from the other day. She said they can handle that stuff in their office. We also discussed the middle-of-the-night headaches I get from sinus, tension, or both. She’s helping me modify my allergy routine so that hopefully I won’t wake up in the early AM hours unable to think.
I’m feeling inspired to do more. I feel better than I have in a while. And I’m certainly motivated to not need meds. Unless I need a sick visit, I’ll see her again in 6 months!
